Terms of Service

Last updated: August 21, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Xantino (the "Service"), a booking, payments and management platform for appointment-based businesses, provided at xantino.com and its subdomains. By creating an account, booking an appointment, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

We use "Business" to mean a company or individual using Xantino to manage and sell their own appointments, products or gift cards. We use "Customer" to mean someone booking with, or buying from, a Business through Xantino. "You" means whichever of these applies to you.

1. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You’re responsible for activity that happens under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Businesses are responsible for the accuracy of the information they publish on their booking page, including services, prices, availability and policies.

2. The Service

Xantino lets Businesses publish a booking page, manage staff and calendars, take deposits and payments, sell gift cards and products, and communicate with their Customers. Xantino provides the platform, it is not a party to the appointment, sale or service arranged between a Business and a Customer, and is not responsible for a Business’s services, pricing, cancellation policy, or the conduct of its staff.

3. Plans and billing

Businesses may use a free plan or subscribe to a paid plan, billed monthly or as a one-time lifetime purchase, plus optional add-ons, such as extra AI or SMS credits, or feature unlocks, billed separately. Monthly subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, you can cancel at any time from your account settings, effective at the end of the current billing period. Fees are shown before purchase and, unless stated otherwise, are non-refundable once a billing period has started.

4. Payments

Payments made through Xantino, including deposits, full payments, gift cards and product orders, are processed by Stripe on behalf of the relevant Business. Xantino takes a 1% platform fee from each transaction on the Free plan, waived entirely for Businesses on the Pro or Elite plan, the remainder settles to the Business’s own connected Stripe account. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe’s terms in addition to these Terms. Xantino does not store your card details.

Refunds, cancellations and disputes about a specific booking, gift card or order are between you and the Business, see their published cancellation policy, or contact them directly. Xantino may assist in resolving a dispute but doesn’t guarantee a particular outcome and isn’t liable for a Business’s refund decisions.

5. Content

Businesses may upload photos, portfolio images and other content to their booking page. You keep ownership of what you upload, but grant Xantino a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display and reproduce it as needed to operate and promote the Service, for example showing your portfolio on your public booking page. You’re responsible for having the rights to anything you upload, including a subject’s consent to publish their photo.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or to mislead Customers
  • attempt to bypass, disable or interfere with the Service’s security or payment systems
  • upload content you don’t have the rights to, or that’s abusive, obscene, or infringing
  • use the Service to send unsolicited marketing outside what these Terms permit
  • reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the Service without our written permission

We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that breach these Terms, pose a security risk, or are used fraudulently.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service, or permanently delete your Business account, at any time from account settings. We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or where required by law. On deletion, we remove your account data in line with our Privacy Policy, except where we’re required to retain records, for example transaction records for tax or fraud-prevention purposes.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, and we’re not responsible for the accuracy of content published by a Business, or for the outcome of any appointment or purchase arranged through the Service.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Xantino isn’t liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the fees you paid to Xantino, not including amounts that pass through to a Business, in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can’t legally be limited, such as for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we’ll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify Businesses by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
